Acquisitions strategy
In addition to our own product innovation, Phoenix Mecano has traditionally taken over companies in order to facilitate its entry into new sectors of the components market. Between 1989 and 2008 Phoenix Mecano spent more than CHF 166 million on acquisitions, primarily to accelerate the introduction of new products onto the market, but also in order to reinforce the local market.
