The battery-free e-paper label, also known as the electronic shelf label, is increasingly used in modern production and logistics processes. Information such as order and product data, QR codes, storage locations, and more can be easily transferred to the e-paper via NFC.
The labels are reprogrammable, allowing for quick updates without the need for printing paper labels. This solution is also sustainable, as it eliminates the use of batteries and paper. E-Paper Label – The Efficient and Digital Order Paper
The e-paper label, in combination with a PDA or MES system, is the ideal solution for paperless production. It acts as a digital order document, eliminating the need to replace or reprint paperwork when parts lists, quantities, or delivery dates change.
The unique identifier of the e-paper tag ensures the correct order is always loaded from the PDA or MES system, preventing mix-ups. The e-paper consistently displays live data from the ERP system.
Label Containers with the Required Information During Set-Up
Existing boxes can be easily retrofitted with the e-paper label. When setting up material, the box can be flexibly labelled with various information, such as the article number of the contents, the associated production order, or the storage location for refilling in production.
Marking and identifying the container is extremely simple, with no need for time-consuming label handling. Additionally, there is no need for printer infrastructure or consumables.
Shelf Labeling – Permanently Legible with E-Paper Labels
With the Electronic Shelf Label, both dynamic and static storage locations can be labeled flexibly without the need for printing or replacing labels. The stored information and barcodes remain legible at all times and, unlike paper labels, do not suffer from abrasion or aging.

The e-paper label can be easily attached to existing returnable packaging. It displays relevant information for you and your customers, such as a QR code, storage location, article number, or batch number.
