Precision printing & marking for enclosures
Printing and Labeling
Printed and labelled devices are everywhere - from household appliances to remote controls and TV/audio equipment. In industrial applications, printing on housings and injection-moulded parts effectively displays company logos and functional markings.
Modern printing techniques for enclosures include pad printing, screen printing, and digital printing. Most plastics and metals now support durable prints when proper pre-treatment and expertise are applied. Additionally, housings can be engraved or laser-marked. The best process depends on the required colour, application environment, and production volume. We simply need a vectorised graphic file to begin, and our experts will be happy to advise you.
Pad printing is ideally suited to both plastic and metal surfaces, making it an excellent choice for housings. The silicone pad's flexibility ensures precise ink transfer, even on non-planar surfaces, recessed areas, and intricate details, with a minimum line thickness of 0.3 mm.
Screen printing excels on large areas and for solid motifs, delivering high opacity and rich colours. Our membrane keypads and front foils are predominantly printed using this method.
To avoid errors and ensure accuracy, please provide a vectorised file (e.g. PDF, EPS, CDR, or AI) along with the corresponding colour codes.
Pad printing: For deeper areas and non-planar surfaces
Screen printing: For large-area, uniform colours
Engravings remain legible for years under harsh conditions. It is recommended to cover the engraving with paint afterward to prevent corrosion and maintain readability.
For engraving enclosures, please provide the drawing in STEP format or a fully dimensioned DXF file at a 1:1 scale.
Abrasion resistant: Still legible after years
Colour: Lettering is laid out with colour
If your motif or logo features a colour gradient, digital printing is the ideal process. It also allows for extremely fine lines and a broad spectrum of colours. For housings, front panels, and injection-moulded parts, digital printing perfectly complements the more traditional pad and screen printing methods. Digital printing can also be performed using a photo file in the appropriate resolution.
Extensive colour options: Achieve detailed, photo-like colour gradients
Extended Print area: Capable of printing in recessed areas and right up to the edge
Laser marking is ideal for serial numbers, continuous lettering, and intricate characters and logos. For the laser marking of housings or profiles, please provide a STEP file or fully dimensioned DXF file at a 1:1 scale for the motif.
Serial and continous marking: Suitable for serial numbers and continuous markings
Fine detail: Ideal for very fine fonts and logos
Cost-effective: Low initial costs and environmentally friendly
