Recording of the ACTUAL Situation On Site

Together we analyze your ACTUAL situation on site and evaluate whether your product is suitable for a Lean-Live Workshop. Subsequently, the most important information is collected and the goals for the workshop are defined.

Preparation of Workshop

Customer: You gather all relevant information about your product. Ideally, you already have assembly instructions and current assembly durations and setup times, which you can make available to us in advance. All individual parts, tools, equipment and existing devices or assembly jigs required for the manufacture of your product need to be prepared for the workshop.

LEAN Basic Training

Your employees receive basic LEAN production training. Depending on your needs, the basic training can be theoretical or practical. Your team will learn the lean principles in this training.

Analysis ACTUAL Process

Together we will analyze your current production process. In doing so, we will uncover waste (muda's).

Design of a New Assembly Process

After the analysis of the ACTUAL process has been completed, we will jointly set up and define the new assembly process. Together we build the new process using Cardboard engineering. We then produce your product live with the newly designed process. You immediately experience the improvement in your production process live.

Offer Preparation

At the end of the day, we will collect together the developed solution, so that we can make you an offer. Based on the results of the workshop and our offer, you will receive the return on investment immediately.

By the end of the day, you will have concrete data showing how to reduce assembly times and increase productivity. Your employees actively contribute to shaping the process, as they are best placed to identify waste. Moreover, the improved assembly process gains their support and acceptance.
Under the guidance of one of our lean experts, you will develop an optimised production process using one-piece flow. Throughout the workshop, waste is identified and improvements are implemented directly. You will quickly observe the positive impact of lean production on your productivity.
In our workshop, we provide a variety of assembly workstations, flow racks, crates, holders, and more – all of which are assembled to suit your product. Cardboard engineering is used to adapt and expand workstations and shelving, allowing your employees to simulate and test the future workplace. Should the need arise, special holding devices can be temporarily constructed on-site. Our goal is for you to see and experience how your future production process can operate. If any aspect is unsatisfactory or misplaced, adjustments are made immediately until you are fully satisfied.
You will be provided with a detailed documentation of the solutions developed. Additionally, if desired, we can calculate a target price for the LEAN workstation constructed from our aluinium profiles. This enables you to estimate the payback period based on the reduced lead time and serves as a robust foundation for further decisions.
Throughout the day, you will have access to our standard modular equipment for workstations, tools, and materials for cardboard engineering. An experienced LEAN expert from our team will supervise you at all times. Additionally, if necessary, a member of our design department is available to address critical issues. For products requiring complex material sourcing or bolting processes, we can arrange for a specialist from our partner companies, SFS Unimarket or MABAG AG, to assist. Complimentary drinks, snacks, and lunch are also provided.
