Thanks to the design of the profiles, they can be individually combined with each other and thus enable significantly more applications.
The front panel and rear panel are manufactured from 3 mm thick aluminum, ensuring a stable and durable enclosure design.
Depending on the selected profile depth and the connection to the device carrier system, both the front and rear panels can either be securely screwed in place or mounted with hinges for easier access.
For hinged profile configurations, both the front and rear panels must be fixed with screws to guarantee maximum structural stability.
By combining different profile frame variants, the SL 5000 control enclosure can be configured with a wide range of installation depths. The enclosure can also be opened from the front via an integrated hinge system. For this configuration, the front panel and rear panel are securely connected with screws to ensure stability and durability in industrial environments.
The integrated divider system was specifically developed to expand the application possibilities of the enclosure without the need for expensive custom constructions. The front panel can be separated either horizontally or vertically, allowing the Panel PC area to be visually and functionally separated from the control elements. Custom color designs can also be implemented to match individual machine or corporate designs.
For most individual profiles and fixed profile combinations of the SL 5000 series, the rear panel can be equipped with a hinge mechanism. This design ensures convenient access to internal components and simplifies installation, maintenance, and servicing tasks.
In addition to the rear panel, certain versions of the front panel can also be hinged. This option is available for the individual 95 mm and 139 mm profiles, providing even greater accessibility for service and system integration.
The SL 5000 industrial control enclosure can be expanded with numerous accessories to support ergonomic operation and enhanced functionality. Optional side handles improve handling and usability. A glass insert can be integrated into the front panel to display a company logo or to accommodate components such as an RFID reader. In addition, a signal light can be installed to function as a visual alarm indicator.
The enclosure profiles, front panels, and divider elements can be individually powder-coated. This allows the entire control housing to be perfectly adapted to your corporate identity (CI) or machine design concept.
Compatibility with ROSE support arm systems or external mounting solutions depends on the chosen SL 5000 enclosure profile. Individual adaptations for third-party systems or VESA mounting standards can be realized after technical evaluation.
