HTK HAMBURG GMBH
HTK HAMBURG has been developing and manufacturing gas detection systems for safety-critical applications for more than 30 years. Gas detection systems play a crucial role in protecting people, equipment and the environment from the risks posed by toxic and flammable gases. With the GWA8K gas detection system, the company offers a central control and evaluation unit for the reliable detection and monitoring of hazardous gases.
The system is used in the food industry, multi-storey car parks and other safety-critical environments where reliable gas monitoring is essential.
A robust yet practical enclosure solution was required for the central control and evaluation unit. The enclosure was intended to provide reliable protection for the sensitive electronics whilst also facilitating ease of use in day-to-day operation. Furthermore, flexibility in the enclosure design and the seamless integration of the membrane keypad were key requirements.
What Customers Say About Us

Managing Director, HTK HAMBURG GMBH
With the Bocard enclosure and the integrated profiline technology membrane keypad, HTK HAMBURG has found a solution that combines functionality, protection and ease of use. The IP65 protection rating ensures reliable protection for the electronics. The hinged cover allows quick and easy access to the interior, whilst the membrane keypad enables convenient operation of the gas detection system.
Another advantage: the Bocard system offers a high degree of flexibility in terms of configuration. Interchangeable lids and base units, as well as various sizes, allow the system to be adapted to different requirements.
The partnership between HTK HAMBURG and Phoenix Mecano member BOPLA has been in place for around 30 years. The focus is not only on the product itself, but also on personalised advice and the joint development of suitable solutions.
